Would you like to request bar reviews, restaurant reviews, event reviews or wine reviews for your business? We’re happy to review your craft beer, wine, food, service or event and add it to Travel Wine Food for free, in return for food/drink/tickets etc. Details below.
Alternately, if you’d prefer the article to be on your website or in your publication, depending on the complexity and what is required, we can work with you to create something appropriate. Articles start at AU$100 for about 500 words (ABN 54 065 417 665)
We’re usually available after 6pm 7 days in Sydney City (and sometimes Melbourne City). Generally anywhere within 30 minutes walking distance of the CBD. So, in Sydney, Circular Quay, Surry Hills, Darlinghurst, Pyrmont, Chinatown, Broadway etc (Outside this area we would need our taxi fee covered as we don’t drive.)

More about restaurant reviews
Please note that we cannot review food containing milk products due to allergies. So, no butter, milk, cream, cheese, yoghurt, icecream etc. This usually means we’re reviewing more Asian style food rather than western style food. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Generally the review is online within a week of attending your business. Depending on what we’re offered depends on how long the review is, though a minimum of 500 words would be written.
Small amounts of meals and drinks and more of them over a period of time is better for a review than one large meal that we can’t finish or write much about.

If you’re a new craft beer bar or just need another review, a couple of tasting paddles featuring a wide selection of unique craft beer (with a focus on darker beers like stouts and porters) would be ideal. A table with a view of most of the area of your bar would be good too. A day that isn’t too busy would be fine as we generally avoid taking photos of people where possible. If we need to take pictures of people we’ll blur the photo or blur the faces as much as possible.

Send an email regarding your event and we’ll reply letting you know whether it’s something we can do or not. If your event is in the evening, in the city area, or not far from the city we should be able to make it.
More about Wine Reviews
Send us an email and we’ll send you an address for posting the bottle of wine for review to us. Please send two in case one is broken, or has bottle shock or is off in some way. Please also include tasting notes. You’re welcome to send a case of 6 different bottles of wine if you’d like each bottle reviewed, though these would be done once a week, so please let us know which order the wines should be reviewed.

Reviews are carefully worded to include keywords that can be found by search engines, and the links are also posted on our private Facebook pages. We both have over 6 years experience in the food and beverage industry, and several years tasting and reviewing food around the world for various social media services, blogs and publications. We’re happy to give lots of detail!
